A non-profit business strategist by profession, Stephanie Anderson has spent the past six years serving local and international non-profits, empowering them use their voices to change the world. She is also a total foodie who loves to cook and eat as much good food as possible.

The idea for WeRise. was birthed when Stephanie was fundraising for her first missions trip to Ethiopia in 2016. She started baking pies to raise funds for that trip and the idea stuck. WeRise now operates seasonally while Stephanie now works full-time at I Pour Life as the Director of Global Operations.

Stephanie and her husband Andy live in Springfield, Missouri. They spend their free time reading books and watching Netflix on the couch with their giant bulldog Luther.

THE INSPIRATION

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing...Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
— James 1:22-25, 27 (ESV)
